How do you cope with Uncertainty? Life is full of uncertainties. I’ve noticed that I often wrestle with things I cannot control, which leaves me feeling discouraged and anxious. Recognizing what I can and cannot control is the key to navigating the sea of uncertainty. It’s important to keep moving forward, staying true to who you are, while letting go of the things that are beyond your control.

I’ve found myself afraid to express my thoughts in conversations, worrying that I might make mistakes or unintentionally hurt someone’s feelings, just as I have been hurt by others. However, I’ve come to realize that not trying at all is worse than making mistakes. Despite my fears, I need to take things one step at a time. If you don’t move at all, you remain stuck in the same situation forever.

Over the years, I’ve learned that I am who I will become. Even in uncertainty, we have the power to choose our next step. Although the process may be slow, dull, anxiety-inducing, or even painful, every small step brings you closer to the person you are meant to be. And every step counts. I focus on what’s right in front of me and let everything else unfold. Things always happen in wonderful and unexpected ways. Life will lead you to places you never imagined, but eventually, everything connects. I believe the way we perceive this connection is what motivates us to keep moving forward.

Recently, I’ve felt lost after stepping down from something I cared deeply about for three years. Letting go has been difficult, but I sense that I needed this change. Now, I have time to reflect, focus on my art-making, learn how to manage my negative thoughts, and discover what truly brings me joy. Although I continue to battle anxious thoughts, I know that something new will come into my life. I’m grateful for this moment. It’s still confusing and painful, but I’m looking forward to the next chapter—the excitement of uncertainty, embraced with perseverance.
