About her art

My work is a form of prayer and contemplation in the face of the uncontrollable and uncertain. I create paintings, drawings, and collages of landscapes, often focusing on weather—natural conditions beyond human control. My artwork intertwines various visual elements, including representational images rendered in an impressionistic manner, textures, linear marks, geometric shapes, arrows, and symbols derived from weather maps.

I am interested in revealing both the visible and invisible aspects of ever-changing natural phenomena as a metaphor for the uncertainty we encounter in life. While representational landscapes depict what humans perceive through their senses—primarily sight—spiritual, psychological, and social factors also intertwine, leading to unexpectedly profound consequences. My work explores my personal experience of navigating uncertainty.
